In-season athletes like you are constantly active. Practice in your sport causes a good amount of wear and tear as it is. The after-effects of a traditional weight lifting sessions often lead to stiffness and soreness which in turn effects the quality of movement when you actually participate in your sport.
Having experienced all of the above numerous times, we knew creating an alternative approach to developing muscle mass was a necessity. Since we had success with healing injuries and developing mobility by teaching more fluid movements, ideally a method for training athletes in those same fluid movements would be ideal.
Though the actual solution wound up being rather simple, it took awhile to figure out. We just turned flow into throw. We took the same traditional patterns and principles but increased the speed and power.
